So, yesterday if you missed the Five, you missed an awesome time!  I was really excited to see everyone hanging out and enjoying dinner…  It sure was good too!  MMM…  I could eat mexican food any day of the week.  So, with that being said… if you missed the Five, go over here, and give a listen.  Also make sure you check out this video interview with Joe Drenth…

We were talking about trust last night.  So, it made me think… What is the hardest thing about trust for you?

  1. The hardest thing about “Trust” for me is that I am willingly making a choice to give up control. satan loves to say to me, “You really know best.” Only by the Power of God can this lie be put in its resting place.

  2. The hardest thing about specifically trusting God is the fact that i can’t physically see God and that makes it hard when im making decisions or going through hard times. Its easy for me to trust someone i can see who will let me down than God who i cant see who won’t let me down.

  3. The hardest thing about trust for me comes because so many human experiences lack integrity…which breaks trust. How can you trust someone or something that lacks integrity? And while my brain may know that God is overflowing with abundance in integrity, trustworthiness and love…my experiences have shaped me in a way that finds it hard to believe that. I must continually remind myself that those who have attempted to reflect Christ on this earth are going to fall short and that I cannot place my level of trust in God and His love for me in the way people attempt to mirror him. I need to appreciate their attempt, know they will fail me and constantly look to the ONLY ONE who has perfect integrity, is perfectly trustworthy and wholly loving, truly desiring my best at all times.
