So many times I’ve asked the question, what? What do you want? I’ve asked my parents, I’ve asked friends, I’ve asked my wife… I’ve asked my kids… Sometimes with more patience than others… But I’ve been down that road before. WHAT DO YOU WANT?
This morning I have the opportunity to lead our devotional time in our staff meeting. I am going to ask one question… “What does God want to do with you here at this church?”
Check out the disciples story… What did God want to do with those knuckleheads? So, here’s my question for you this morning, What does God want to do with you in your church?
As this guy would say, it’s an all skate. Come on, jump in and leave a comment… what do you think?

This is exactly the question I’ve heard God giving me the answer to the last few years. Yes I said years, this is a huge task at hand for me and I’m off and running with it. I’m trying to re-energize people within our congregation, bring in new faces as our numbers are dropping too fast and to rebuild our youth programs. This is the question that I am going to ask our members to pray hard about. Because we have come to a point that too many come on Sunday morning and never give any more than that and I know he wants more of us than that. How do you propose that question without offense? I know he is asking me to stand up and give my testimony, to show his love for others and he is asking me to stand firm and see this through.
Maybe lead a financial planning class. Not in the sense of which stocks/mutual funds to purchase, but to deal with the practical dollars and sense questions of the day to day life. Who knows what God wants from me… I feel like I have been asking this question for sometime now.
Love without judgment or condition…serve…pray…lead…follow…be available…slow down…build relationships…learn…grow…change…be authentic
