So, it’s been about 3 months since I’ve started blogging.  I always wonder who is reading this stuff?  I wonder how did they find this site?  Why do they keep coming back… that type of stuff.  I always wonder about you.  So in the spirit of answering the question which is plaguing my soul, please tell me a little about yourself.  Here’s some of my other questions…(to help you get started)

So, of you all who are out there reading this, I wonder, how many of you have a blog?  I wonder, have I ever read it?  If not, I would like to.  So, here’s the instructions.  If you read The Salt Lick, and you have a blog, please let me know the name of your blog.

Part two…  If you don’t currently have a blog, What would you name your blog if you had one, and what would you blog about?

Fill me in!

~Peter

  1. Hey
Apparently you have read mine, because you thought I called you a dork. =]
And at the moment I’m in the process of getting stuff from camp onto it.
    =] enjoy

  2. I read your blog to see how you are… and I find it interesting to see what you are thinking about.

you are not one to reveal your personal close thoughts… you would rather stuff… so i look for that reason.

also … let’s see… i don’t think i’d blog… but i do write letters to GOD in my computer “notebook”.

  3. If I had a blog, no doubt it would be called “Random Thoughts.” Maybe one day I will start one. I think the idea of a Blog and writing daily posts is fairly random anyway. It goes with my character. So about me, maybe something you already dont know. Did you know that I used to write a journal. I kept track of how many words I wrote. Well not exactly, but I knew approximately how many words I would write on a page. I was able to in a period of 4 years or so to write about 1,000,000 words. I wanted to see what that looked like. Also one month, actually 19 days I took a brand new pen and ran it out of ink. I filled about 108 pages up before it ran out of ink. That calculates out to about 2 hours a day.
How did I find the site, I heard some guy, Peter talking about his blog, so I looked it up.
Hum… so what else about me… Sometimes I struggle with finishing projects, especially if there are a lot of steps it gets me frustrated and I give up. I enjoy the projects that are right in front of me. I know life is not easy, but I wish it was easier sometimes…
Hey here is a question, do you ever read these things?

  4. Pretty sure that I would never blog. I don’t think I want most people to know that much about me – I am often amazed that my wife knows me so well and still loves me. That is surely a testament to her virtue. However, I enjoy pondering what you write and laughing with you about your kids. Most of all I continue to be amazed at how our amazing God cares for us.

  5. My name is Jesse. I have a blog. It’s called Walkin’ the Way (or at least tryin’). I started reading yours because I thought it would be more productive than sitting on Facebook.

  6. Peter, I’ve been reading your blog for about as long as you’ve been writing in it, and i guess i heard about it from you back when us junior highers had youth group on sundays.
Hmm, cant think of a good title for a blog if I had one, but if I did, I would write about whatever was on my mind, anything from sports to video games to God to books to what I did during the day. Wow, I would have a lot to write about..

  7. Anthony, you should start a blog with all of those topics to write about! Let’s go… Jump right in…

Well, Peter, here it is. I made a blog on WordPress and wrote a post out. I won’t be able to do much more for a week (I’ll be at Camp Orchard Hill all week, and I dont think we have computer access), but at least I have something to start with. Thanks for the encouragement!

By the way, the URL is anthonyform817.wordpress.com

Now all we have to do is get John a blog! 😉

  10. Good question! I read your blog to get to know you better…so I can pray for you and your family and your ministry and since you are spending so much time with my kid 🙂

If I had a blog I’d probably call it something like “Wit and Wisdom” not that I really have much of either (so maybe it should be called “delusions”) You are making me think it might be fun to dabble in it…but I honestly don’t know where I’d find time for one more thing. Hey…since Nicole is leaving for college maybe I can write about how I’m doing with that major life change for this mom’s heart.
