finding meaning in the mundane

Who AM I?

Who am I?  Great question… Sometimes it seems like I am figuring that out as I go along.  So, here are a few things I can tell you about myself.

Who is this guy?

I am a husband to my beautiful wife Tiffany.  I get to be the daddy to my three awesome kids, Noah, Grace, and Leah.  I am a Campus Pastor at Liquid Church in Nutley, NJ.

What do I like to do?

I love to enjoy life.  This means that there are times when the best thing for me to do is be on the ground wrestling with my kids, and making them laugh.  This may mean that I am sitting on the porch making my wife laugh and enjoying just being together with the woman whom I love desperately.  Sometimes I need to get dirty.  I love digging in the dirt and creating something beautiful, or tasty from nothing.  I love to get under the water and go spearfishing.  When you are twenty plus feet under water, life gets incredibly quiet, even if it’s only for 45 seconds.

What can you expect here on my blog?

I love to write about faith, family, and how our relationship with God directs our footsteps.  One of my passions is to help people see how what they hear on Sunday translates into their everyday life.  Let me know what some of the things you are interested in reading are!  Click the contact me tab and drop me a line!  Let’s chat.

(Oh yeah, my header photography is all done by an incredibly talented dude who happens to be one of my best friends… Dave Adamson.  Check out his work here!)

  1. It’s wonderful to see/hear about godly fathers raising their children in the ways of the Lord…nice post, about the “fine line”.
    Shalom, Karen

  2. The Word is like a salt lick, it leaves us ever thirsty for Truth. I paraphrased this comment from something I heard on AM 620 radio in Knoxville this morning. From Family Life Today. Really powerful idea. I googled it and found your site.
    God bless.

  3. I stumbled on this site looking for a certain image. In a bigger sense, I am still searching and I long to find something I already know I need. I am afraid though that I am getting lost in this world which I need to run away from in a spiritual sense. I walked the fine line for too long and fell. I know what I need to do to get back yet………

  4. From Costa Rica, pura vida!! I am very happy I found this blog, is bright!
    God bless you!
